Replaced the cracked screen HTC aria

I dropped the HTC aria. I have blogged about it here.

Now with some spare time and Y-shaped Tri-wing Screwdriver (also useful for Nintendo Wii, Gamecube, Gameboy Advance etc) , I have replaced the cracked screen.

If you noticed in the pictures, I did not put the rubber around the proximity sensor. As a result, I ended up going to dark screen once the phone was in call mode. However, putting the rubber back made it work.

I have one defect though: during the process I seem to have lost one of the speaker. It now only works in speaker phone mode.

What time is it? #fun

I am sure this has happened to you too! Whenever you seek time, the digits are showing some magical repetition. It could be 1010 AM or 333PM.
There is nothing to it other than coincidence of having the same digits in hour and minute places (:P). I mean the number that we use in  However, I noted couple of time that whenever I look into the time, I noticed seeing same minute and hour digits. Lets call it digital time artefact. American Idol Season 9: Voices and News Trends

American Idol season 9 starts tonight. The news has been hyped by the news about Simon's possible exit after season 9.  It is a fun show. Some regard that it has been accepted as some sort of culture by now. At the least, the twitter trends has been set for today for "American Idol". Google trend shows it to be top 50 topic for today.

In the past it has been successful to bring many talented artists into the spot light. Surely, this year will be no exception.

Beyond AVATAR movie and AVATAR the game

The Game based on AVATAR may become bigger than the Grand Theft Auto. There is the whole planet to wonder and discover.
Ah ha!

To fight with the heavily loaded villain in AMP (Amplified Mobility Platform) suit with the help of bow and arrows at the hardest level will be full of fun. Not less than some training the hero has to go through to get in control of the situation. The fact that the hero character is subdued by villain at some point can make it challenging.

What is potential for the market after screening of AVATAR besides having the game?

Black Friday Shopping: Tips

The Black Friday shopping hype is about to begin.
I am jotting down some tips for early birds.

• Do not rush for early morning Deals on Friday: Sleep well. You will loose nothing.  I was up one morning (two years ago) as early as 2 AM to get into the line of Black Friday shopping in front of Best Buy (I have a post from last year showing the sleeping line here...). 
• Check for On line Deals: On line deal sounds much more comfy from your computer at home than the cold morning rush. There are a lot of deal sites.
  
• Remember, there will be After sales events: as they still have to do business after Black Friday. 
• Eat drink and be merry!: Recent studies show that people who eat traditional dishes tend not to fall into the hype of deal [Sci.Ame...]. Good for them!
