World Cup Predictions 2014

So, it is finally here!!!
The world cup 2014 officially kicks off today in Brazil. The rest becomes the noise (including this one :P) .

When it comes to the game which touches a big portion of world's populations, (around 1/6th), it becomes quite a nice experiments.

In the spirit of the game, there are predictions made, hopes being raised and tears being shed. The game of football is 90 minute long (with possibilities of tie breakers adding more time). That  means the game can swing in any direction until the last second. It is a game of chance, luck and hard team work; or whatever you feel it is. The best team does not always bag the win. Expect the unexpected!

So, what are your predictions for the games? I am thinking of Brazil or Spain. Just a guess from my choice.
Who would enter the top 8? top 4? and who will lift the trophy?
If you are the hard believer, you may say that your team will win. But what are the chances? Can you put a number on it? Are you willing to bet? How do you assign it?
We have seen predictors of wide range such as Octopus, and what not!

• Instead of going to Sarjaha, (at least) south-asia can gather in Nepal. An easy sports tourism. Why not?
• Interesting fact: Nepal does not have an international cricket stadium. Since this game has better prospects, and has been proven multiple times, why not?

Optical illusion

Is she rotating clockwise or anticlockwise?
I see different rotations:
When I am watching the video, I see clockwise rotation (i.e. the rotation from right to left); when I am reading, I can sense the rotation in anticlockwise direction.

Watch carefully!

which part of your brain is more active?
If the lady appears to be spinning clockwise, its right part which is more active.
If the lady appears to be spinning anticlockwise, the left part is more active.
I am not convinced with these statements. However, agree that it is optical illusion.

THE Right Brain vs Left Brain test ... do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?
Most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise (?) though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.

20/20 is the future of the Cricket.

As I strongly believe in the time evolution of taste, I think it was a wise decision to organize the 20/20 cricket. The most important factor is the time.
As there are always bad and good associated with everything, the bad part is that Bowlers are doomed! and the batmans are no longer defensive. Both of them will "just swing it"!
Test cricket was the one who gave enough time to learn and to do some experiments without fears of getting out of water before one dies. One day cricket had tried to power up the boring middle wickets but I think 20/20 is the best. Just get it. I am pretty sure that we are not going for some day in which we just flip the coin and announce the winner because no body had time to play! If it is a head, A team wins and if it is a tail B team wins. No no, If we take the new game as a new taste and if it tastes better, it is the future. So far, I liked it!
