My first Gmail message...

This screenshot was taken on Feb 2nd 2012. Now the total inbox count has crossed 20k.

Gmail started with a blast. The 2GB free Email storage was amazingly too much than what yahoo/hotmail and usa.net was offering at that time.
My friends started getting Gmail, but I received a late Gmail invitation. Many of my friends got it, and used it earlier than I did.  So I wonder that you might have received it earlier than me.

What is the date stamp on your first Gmail?

Graph your inbox: Chrome extensions

This is interesting extension which shows your gmail uses over time.
http://ajabgajab.blogspot.com/2010/09/graph-your-inbox-chrome-extensions.html
The extension is:

Example they show on trends for keywords
This visualizes the gmail use and puts into the context of how your communication with particular person has been going over time. I looked over few and was amazed to see the trends.
Although I thought that I did not use the facebook a lot, it shows the notifications that I get from it.  Showing that I do do facebook.

Mostly, s/he posted this on the wall, tagged, this guy played this game etc etc.
Analyzing inbox is fun and gives some reflections on what you have been doing with your gmail.

Shift+Enter = New Full page Gmail message

Just accidentally found that Shift+Enter into the Gmail inbox gives you a new window with the email contents.

Did you know it? It can be useful for printing the Gmail communications.
Cheers!
