The rise and fall of #Flappybird

It looked like a mario with flaps. But, instead of jumping over stuffs, you had to avoid the obstacles and survive. People claimed it to be addictive and challenging as well as frustrating. It quickly rose to the prominence, then the creator decided to pull it off the app store. No reason! (Well, too much noise for him, as TC says.)

There used be similar ideas particularly remember one with a flying helicopter avoiding the obstacles, made in flash. We used to play it on computer, around the year 2000. Some version of that game still exists somewhere on the web.

So, why did that particular game rose to number 1? It is mixture of luck, noise and internet craziness. And, now it is gone!
