Just another rant that Google is cleaning out igoogle

Is it just me who is stuck in the first decade of 2000?
 I loved google reader and it is gone.
 From November, igoogle will also be gone.

Yes, I did not use it as my home page (as it was intended to). But I loved that gge editor thingy! http://www.google.com/ig/directory?url=www.google.com/ig/modules/gge.xml
 Now I am looking into the igoogle for the last time.

Is there an alternative way to still run/host/edit the google gadgets?
Can I still access it from
http://www.google.com/ig/modules/gadgetads.html ?
I need to explore
https://developers.google.com/gadgets/docs/tools
But, but I have no time to  explore these things atm. (That's probably the main reason for being mad at G that my handles are gonna go!!.)
