Dai ko Noodles with Sausage Recipe

Lets name it chau-sage. It is a sausage, with noodles inserted into it.
I had seen it on internet, and wanted to give it a try.
It is easy:
  • Cut the chicken/turkey sausage into circular pieces.
  • insert the noodle stick into the circular pieces (see the picture)
  • boil'em
  • Tada!
See the pictures... (click on the pic for larger view)

Irene comes to USA east coast

Irene, as seen from International Space Station (ISS)
Air, water, birds etc do not require the paper-works to visit any country. They have no border.
Irene is heading to USA east coast

All the best to those who are playing host to Irene. She is paying visit to the places which are one of the most populated areas in east USA. The worst is that it is expected to travel along the coast, thereby maintaining the power, instead of going into the land and losing power. Lets hope that it will result into a minimal damage.

Edit: found a site which could be helpful for information. http://crisislanding.appspot.com/

From: http://crisislanding.appspot.com/

NS reports that it's dimension is one third of atlantic coast line.

Unicode in URL, really? @nayapatrica

Not to pick on any particular website/magazine, but unicode in url? really (@nayapatrica) nayapatrika??

For example:
http://www.nayapatrika.com/multi-color/11642-कहाँ-छन्-युवा-%3F.html
Which is:
http://www.nayapatrika.com/multi-color/11642-%E0%A4%95%E0%A4%B9%E0%A4%BE%E0%A4%81-%E0%A4%9B%E0%A4%A8%E0%A5%8D-%E0%A4%AF%E0%A5%81%E0%A4%B5%E0%A4%BE-%3F.html

I know that with the advent of unicode you can do anything like this:
http://thukka.net/?q=content/सहयोग-गर्छु-भन्दा-पनि-नपाईने-thukka
But, it is not fun!

I   recall  Nagariknews once had unicode nepali in their url. Now they handle it better.

All the news of ekantipur can be just browsed by changing the newsid in their urs:
http://www.ekantipur.com/kantipur/news/news-detail.php?news_id=250473
(no one does it, just a note)

I like the style of kamana prakashan because it makes life easier to browse  the archive.
http://www.newsofnepal.com/detailnews.php?type=dharahara&id=931
Just change the 931 to 930  and you get older news archive.

Another case of innovative Facebook spam App

Yesterday @aakarpost tweeted...
"फेसबुकमा मेरो फोटो को पोष्टकार्ड बनाएर ह्याप्पी तिज भन्न थाले ! अति गर्छन् यार !"
http://twitpic.com/69y1v5

I thought: well he is a star, so no wonder if people/ladies go crazy (on teez :P )!

Today, I saw similar message on my wall.
Half dozen other friends also saw the similar post and they all "liked" them.
Having seen similar wall post before,  it clicked to me:
It is a spammy app for sure!

The trick here is to show the picture of the person looking into the app. This makes the post virtually likeable by anyone who is viewing it. No wonder other people liked it because they were thinking that the first person wished him/her.

Need to spam friend?
There is an app for that...

Google+'s theme overhaul in Google system

Note how the google system has gone from nice sky-blue to "khaki-black" theme after arrival of plus.

I just can not keep myself comparing the red-blue versus black spider-man.

Watch how the black suit gives dark power to spidy.
It's probably me, let hope that there is no evil in going from blue to black (unlike in spiderman movie where spider man becomes evil-istic after going black).

A Laborious Spammer: Gotcha!

Well, I have an interesting finding to share about manual spammers.
I am sure that you all are being bombarded with manual spam comments in your blog-posts. Some of these are detected by Google-blogspot-spam blockers. Some are not.
I found that there were few comments waiting for moderation.
They read something like these:
The comments look almost as if they were real comments. They are  off topic in this case. However, there are instances where they stay on topic and insert links on the last sentence.

I looked into how they got in here...
The search trick for spammer is to type...
site:blogspot.com inurl: <keyword>
Note how they are targeting the comments section by having them in the search item

And they are from...  New Dehli, India!

I am thinking that the spammer websites have outsourced the spammers too!!!

Twitpic's founder says Heello!

Twitpics founder started to say Heello.

Many are guessing, it should be the reply to twitter's photo upload feature.

When I went to heello.com, it immediately came to my mind...
It would have been a nice pun if one could log in with a twitter ID.
:P

Nepali student spots (possibly) water on Mars

A Nepali undergraduate geophysics student at the University of Arizona, USA was the first to spot signs of possible flowing water during the warmer months on Mars that the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announced through a press conference on Thursday.[1]
Congratulations to Lujendra Ojha for his achievements!

Why is spotting water important?
Once, I was hiking with one of my scientist friend.  We were catching our part of the air after few miles near the lake. He looked into the lake while resting and said in deep voice:
Do you realize how many billions of dollar has gone into our science projects to find just few drops of these in space?
It was a deep comment and I appreciated it.

Can you think of few reasons why finding water on extra-terrestrial environment may be important? [2,3]

Wikipedia Trusted Articles *****

Lets face it.
Whenever you say that you saw it in wikipedia, people laugh.
The very fact that people can edit it, makes it less reliable. While the wikipedian robots are trying to avoid the unwanted edits on its articles, it is a daunting task to track and  preserve the reliable information if not nearly impossible.

I noticed that they now have the star system:
You can now vote the articles.  Was it there before? I am thinking that this is a new feature.
Will it solve the problem?
