Well, I did not know that Google now has voice search feature.
I just did a simple test.

Pi or Tau?

Well, have you noticed or ever asked yourself: Why 2 comes with π  in so many mathematical expressions?

There is this weird movement to suggest that π is not the fundamental constant but there is another better candidate: Tau

The most interesting one (to me) was the connection between the area and energy.
The area of the circle, in new notation can be written as:
1/2 Tua r^2 (well, Tau = 2 π)
Why bother?
Because, look at the expressions of
Kinetic Energy:
1/2 m v^2
The Potential Energy:
 1/2 k x^2
The distance covered by a particle falling from rest under gravity:
1/2 g t^2
Aren't they similar?

Well there are much more arguments in favor of tau as presented in the tau's (ko) website.
 Interestingly 6 and 28 both are the first two perfect numbers!

At 35000ft, the plane is a pressurized box. However,  less than the ground pressure.

Internet Explorer Crash

Recently I came across another crashed menu of Walmart display.

It reads ... microsoft internet explorer encountered problem and needs to close.

The option is to restart ms internet explorer. 

Zoom the PDF in Google Chrome

Google chrome can be used as the  pdf  viewer. My other options are adobe's reader, Foxit etc.
In order to zoom into the pdf document in Google chrome, take the mouse pointer to the bottom right corner. Then a set of tools appears.

You can then zoom in, zoom out, fit to the width or fit to the height (from right to left as shown in picture above).

• Open Adobe Flash
• Select Flash File (Actionscript 2.0)
• You will be in new layer, bring any picture you like
• Go to File, select Import, select Import to Stage and select picture.
• Adjust the size of the picture by using the Free Transform Tool
• Give the name to the layer 1 bg as background for that double click on layer 1 and rename it
• Now i want to write Happy New Year something like this
• Decide what you want to write
• Add new layer and rename it Happy
• Choose the Text tool  and write Happy
• Select the text happy and right click and choose Break Apart right click and choose Break Apart (you will see dots in text)
• Go to Modify tool
• Select Convert to Symbol
• Give the name and choose Movie Clip and choose OK
• In Properties you will see Filter menu
• Click Filter choose + sign
• Choose Bevel

Dropbox glitches

With all the news related to the glitches in dropbox accounts, I tend to lose my trust to the dropbox account.

I came to know from another source that dropbox was compromised. Compromised in the sense that anyone could log in with a wrong set of password (*#$!?).

By not informing the users by direct messages about the bug, dropbox seem to be trying to sweep it under the rug.

Amazon Prime Free for 1 year for students with .edu

I had to buy stuffs from amazon.com. The shipping was little urgent. There were 2/3 day shipping option. However, it was kinda expensive.
For faster shipping, I could try Amazon prime as trial for a month. But then, it would just use up my prime.

Then I remembered that I had my old .edu account... just being unused.
I used my old Email address (which I still have access to). After submitting my .edu email, I was offered free prime shipping.
Now I have one year of prime shipping.

Once I wrote in my FB status

"If you type your password in Facebook, it will automatically mask the password. My password is ***"

One of my friend actually typed the password, and deleted it. Hilarity ensued. 

Google Cloud Print

There were days when installing the printer that worked across the network  was pain in the neck.
Personally, when I was able to connect to printer via IP, it was a triumph to me.

Mahabharat episodes in Hulu

Today I was surprised to find Mahabharat in Hulu.

This is one of the wonderful epic of all time.
What I liked the most about the series was the intro section where is impressive sound told a story at the beginning of each series.

The wobbling motion of moon
