Science Mapping Program in Nepal

Ministry of Science and Technology (Government of Nepal) is collecting information about Nepali researchers (M. Sc. and above in pure science and Bachelor's degree and above in technical fields). Ref. http://planeta-observatory.gov.np/science.mapping.php?

They already have data of hundreds of Nepali Researchers and a 'profile' is being prepared.
They have requested me to 'edit' the information and to help in publishing the profile.

There are relatively less number of entries from natural sciences (especially, Physics and Chemistry).
May I request you to send your CURRICULUM VITAE as early as possible to me (plasmanepal@hotmail.com) or to the Ministry's address planetarium@most.gov.np

Can you please forward this message to all (Nepali) M. Sc. and above in pure science (Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology,....)

Pen/Highlighters tool in Power Point Presentation

After reading the how to geek, I realized that one can easily use the highlighter tools in the power point slide- show to highlight stuffs. One can use the pen tool to mark things during the slide show or use the highligher. This is pretty handy. One does not need to use sticks which are generally long or laser pointers as it can show your shaky hand (when nervous) on screen :P
Just go to the bottom-left corner and click on the pen tool.

Or right click on the screen

One can also choose the color of the pen.
Then highlight or mark the slide!

The Art of Problem Solving

The humans were regarded superior than other animals because of "inherent" art of problem solving. As we grew up hearing the stories of clever crow, they were regarded as mere fiction.
