Beyonce's irreplaceable thru iPhone apps

This is probably the first time I have seen the apps being used to create a live talented  presentation.
She creates the beats first and plays along with it... and the voice: nice!

Comedian Joe Wong at Ellen's show and Letterman's Late Show

Poking fun is not an easy piece. Humor depends upon so many factors. Some are cultural and some are experience based.
At some point it should be safe to say that someone's pain is going to someone's source of fun.
I came across this poking by J. Who Wong. He emulates some social fun along with practical jokes.

Prize in Chau Chau... Noodles

It should be obvious fact to many nepali people outside the country that they are brought with chau chau (noodles) as a handy gift. I also had few.
One of my friend once told me a joke about it...
Question: How to find out that someone in airport is Nepali?
Answer: - Check the bag... if it contains chau chau then s/he is nepali.
It is that simple!
I remember, once wai wai had increased the price (from 10 to 11?) but kept the coupon of Rs. 1 in nearly every package so that people would not feel it that way...
Even sometimes car and hundreds of thousand came inside the package. Winning bumper prize in Chau chau was in great fashion.
I am not sure how big is it now.

On the lighter side... Recently, I won something in mayos chau chau.
:)
How do I redeem it?

Spring Fever (syndrome)

Spring fever is synonymously used for the madness caused by the deprival of snow piles around the corners of one's periphery.
In Northern hemisphere, the feelings of confined-ness of the winter creates a virtual pressure on people to get out.
The above may be taken as the psychological causes for it.
However, there has to be some ecological aspects of it.

The physiological causes are explained as follow:
Although the causes of spring fever have not yet been fully resolved, hormone balance may play a role. According to this theory the body’s reserves of the “happiness hormone” serotonin, whose production depends on daylight, become exhausted over the winter, making it especially easy for the “sleep hormone” melatonin to have its effect. When the days become longer in springtime, the body readjusts its hormone levels, and more endorphin, testosterone and estrogen are released. This changeover puts a heavy strain on the body, which responds with a feeling of tiredness. In addition, temperatures usually fluctuate greatly in springtime. When temperatures rise, blood pressure drops, since the blood vessels expand. Food also plays a role. In winter one tends to consume more calories, fat and carbohydrates than in summer. But during the hormone adjustment period the body requires more vitamins and proteins instead. [Source: Wikipedia]

I am eagerly waiting for it!
