Connect Your Adsense with Google Analytics

Google Analytics is awesome application. It is more than just stat.
I was going thru' my adsense account and saw a link saying "Integrate your adsense with analytics".

It should give us more comprehensive account of what is going on ones site.

Just a tutorial:

E-Governance: Data dot gov

Data.gov is the new venture of Obama administration to put everything online.
This will allow people to have an easier way to get the data. Be it the H1N1 spread across the country or other pandemic spreading around, or any other issues that can possibly have impacts on the everyday life, being able to see the data enables people with first hand information.

Let me quote:

The purpose of Data.gov is to increase public access to high value, machine readable datasets generated by the Executive Branch of the Federal Government.

Get FaceBook Profile with your name

After failed ways to be like a twitter service here is a new innovation by FaceBook (FB): create your  favorite name tag for the profile!

This feature was already available in Myspace, yahoo geocities also had similar nametag (geocities collapsing soon!).
I am not sure whether it will sustain{hey come on... this is about millions of people!: Just ask Wolfram Alpha ... }, but there should be no harm in getting one!

Have you got one?

Opera Unite: A new way to web

I love firefox, I adore Opera very much. Forget about any possibilities of bowser war!
Opera is faster and in many cases stable with respect to tabbed browsing and Javascript tests.
Yesterday Opera Unite was announced. I have downloaded it and am looking around.
Watch the video: it sounds interesting that I can share the files just from within the browser!!!

***************
From the Opera Unite Blog:
Opera today unveiled Opera Unite, a new technology that shakes up the old client-server computing model of the Web. Opera Unite turns any computer into both a client and a server, allowing it to interact with and serve content to other computers directly across the Web, without the need for third-party servers.
Opera Unite makes serving data as simple and easy as browsing the Web. For consumers, Opera Unite services give greater control of private data and make it easy to share data with any device equipped with a modern Web browser.
For Web developers, Opera Unite services are based on the same open Web standards as Web sites today. This dramatically simplifies the complexity of authoring cutting-edge Web services. With Opera Unite, creating a full Web service is now as easy as coding a Web page.
Opera Unite is available in a special version of the Opera 10 desktop browser from Opera Labs. Opera Unite services run directly in the browser.

Robot in office : Navigate and plug in when you are running low

Meet your new Robotic office partner...

This morning I found a nice video of robot navigating in the office and plugging itself into the power sources. This gives us solution for robots running low on batteries. We can set the algorithm for the robot to go and charge itself if power is less than 10 percent. Or, equivalently, if the time to travel to the power source is comparable to the power available on board. That means if the battery is going to die in 5 minutes and it takes 2 minute to go and plug itself, then go!
This is just like us, if we feel hanging on somewhere, and seek coffee or drink and get refreshed!

Moreover, this can be integrated with the webcam equipment so that you will be virtually there in the office!!!
Opening up lot more possibilities...
Moreover, it is open source!!!

Watch Google Wave as everyone is looking for Bing!

Google has come up with the announcement of Wave " a new model for communication and collaboration on the web".
The online life has changed the paradigm of how we live the w3 life and communicate. Google is on the forefront of trend setters. Communication is important, and so is collaboration. Web 3.0 is going to be exciting with new innovation and competition between the big names. I am excited!

While others are still trying to learn how to make smart search, google has time to look for new features. Doing experiments. Wave will be launched by the end of this year (as they say), can't wait to see it on full throttle!

Specially, I want to have a mechanism by which We can have an online forum at which people can come and chat/collaborate; somehow better than yahoo chat room. For example I would love to host an online meeting on the web every friday evening so that people can come, join and communicate. I hold this vision for nepal physical society and its members around the world. Students from Nepal can then have direct access to seniors aboard. The potential of such meetings can never be under estimated. Anyways, that has to wait till the right time comes.

Watch the announcement of Wave!
