Yet another Ponzi Scheme! Do you want to make a lot of money?

Do you want to make a lot of money?
Do you want to be rich?
Do you want to earn while not doing a lot of things?
Do you want to run a business that gets you money even when you are sleeping?

Who says no?
That is the starting point of the Ponzi scheme.

A Ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investment operation that pays returns to investors from their own money or money paid by subsequent investors rather than from any actual profit earned. The Ponzi scheme usually offers abnormally high short-term returns in order to entice new investors. The perpetuation of the high returns that a Ponzi scheme advertises and pays requires an ever-increasing flow of money from investors in order to keep the scheme going. Basically Ponzi scheme had been effectively run in the early 20th century and was famous among the laymen. Being able to sell the dream was the great success of such scheme. With time and tactics it has loomed over many educated and smart people too. Ground rule is if you dream about getting rich at some point, you can be taken into this scheme.

Do you want to be rich?
Do you want to earn while not doing a lot of things?
Do you want to run a business that gets you money even when you are sleeping?

Do you have answers as "yes" to above question? Of course, if someone asks you questions with that sharp edge, you will picture yourlself as a fool. Letting go such opportunity is great deal. You must be a yogi not to say yes to the money that is trying to come up to your pocket.

Relay For Life: the fight against cancer

As of 2010, cancer will be the leading cause of death in the world surpassing heart disease. One way to help overcome this disease is to take up the fight against cancer.

The Relay For Life is a 15 hour overnight walk-a-thon benefiting the American Cancer Society. Many of your hometowns hos this event, however there is also one here at UAlbany. On March 21-22, 2009 the 5th Annual Relay For Life will take place at the SEFCU Arena. The event is filled with a night of fun, live music, food, games, entertainment, and much more. Participants form teams of 8-15 people with the goal of having one team member walk the track throughout the night. Relay or Life involves three different ceremonies celebrating cancer survivors, remembering those who have lost their battle, and pledging to fight back throughout the year. It is a night where all members of the UAlbany community - students, faculty, staff, and others - take up the fight against cancer. As members of the UAlbany community I would like to invite you to the Relay For Life on Saturday March 21st in the SEFCU Arena.



This event is one of the most unique experiences offered at this University. The site for you to register is www.RelayForLife.org/UAlbany. The registration fee is $10 until March 2nd and participants are guaranteed a free t-shirt. After March 2nd the registration fee increases to $20 and a t-shirt is not guaranteed. Payment upon registration is referred but a credit card is not required to register.

By signing up you become familiar with our website which has all the information about the event including the times for our ceremonies and other events. It is also easy to fundraise with pre-written emails ready to send out. It is proven that the more emails you send, the more money you can potentially fundraise. You can personalize your own web page as well. You also receive updates on events and we are able to communicate details of the event with you. Last year UAlbany packed over 1,400 participants into the SEFCU Arena raising over $94,000. This year we are looking to raise $105,000! Please help join our fundraising efforts. In these tough economic times, more people are relying on the American Cancer Society for the services they provide to cancer patients
and their many other programs. I hope that you will join me and participate in this milestone event at the University at Albany.
